Why you must read:  It's one of the few fics this short that has reduced me to tears. Tears of happiness and joy. It's hard to explain, but if you really have Aslan in your heart, you will.

I guess this one really touched me right now, because I'm working my way through "Inside Prince Caspian - A Guide to Exploring the Return to Narnia" by Devin Brown. it's the second in the series. I found "Inside Narnia - A Guide to Exploring The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe". It's wonderful. It's both a critical review of the story and a look at the theology and philosophy behind Lewis himself. It goes into what was going on in Lewis life at the time he wrote the books, the people around him that helped form the characters, the world at the time he lived in, and his own words about his writing and his thinking behind it. It also goes into the works of others who have studied Lewis and the Chronicles themselves. Then as an added bonus, discusses the differences that add to or subtract from the movie in relationship to the stories themselves.
